Maison receives 5 stars from De Standaard

Manna is a Belgian brand and, besides the classic sauce with 25 percent minced meat, the
staple camp food of virtually every youth movement in our country, it has also released this version
released with 30 percent meat and carrot, yellow and red bell peppers, zucchini and
mushrooms. It is thus a pasta sauce which, in my opinion, comes closest to the
‘Belgian bolognese’. When I heat the sauce, it looks as if it has simmered for hours and
it probably has been. It has, of course, been reduced to a pleasant thickness and tastes
as if an enthusiastic amateur cook had done his utmost. It is the only sauce I
eat with pleasure and which I am considering purchasing again in the future.
